Lego Duplo 6758 - Read and Build - Grow Caterpillar Grow

(A Guest post by my brother:)
Building buildings with blocks is one thing but building animals and characters is more fun, wouldn’t you agree? Well, my nephew does. We thought it wasn’t worth buying these LEGO blocks (LEGO Duplo, Read and Build) that had just 17 blocks in it with a storybook for 1299 INR, but when there was an offer on it, we thought, What the heck, let’s give it a go!
And so we came home with this set, unsure of whether it was worth the buy. We didn’t open it right away but my sister took it to her home (which is in a different city). Well, I forgot all about it during our telephonic calls. When I went to her home almost after a month, I was surprised to see that my nephew was able to build all the characters that came in it. It was so wonderful to see him build them so dexterously.
He was able to look at the illustrations in the book and build them right away! This made me wonder how much research went behind the creation of this set.

About the set, you can build four characters with it, namely, Caterpillar, Snail, Frog and Beetle. It’s a good idea to even gift it to someone – you make that kid learn colors, hand coordination, and a story! That’s a huge package exploding out of this small package! Well, watch the video and you’d agree with me (Mind you, that this video was taken within a day or two of the buy; when I watched him build these, he remembered the characters even without the help of the storybook!)

Drillin' Action Tool Set

This is a set that is definitely worth a buy.  Everytime I had to change the batteries for my 2 year old's toys he would stand beside me wanting to do that himself. This drilling action tool set helped me a lot to keep him away from the real screw drivers. I was happy I got him one (as long as he doesn't come hitting me with the hammer!!!).

The set comes with a toolbox, a hammer, a driller with 2 interchangeable drilling pieces, 3 screws and 3 nuts.

Happy? Since it keeps him engaged for a long time...

Unhappy?  The hammer has sharp fangs and it can easily hurt anyone... I would never let him play with the set away from my watchful eyes!!!

Overall, its a fun time toy for my little bundle of joy!
